About
Mari Miller is a video producer for CATE. She helps teach online learning software to faculty, staff, and students in addition to creating CATE media, such as Quick Guides and instructional videos. Mari has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MDes degree from the UIC School of Design's Industrial Design program. For her thesis research, Mari created biodegradable and recyclable alternatives to plastic-based prototyping materials (such as extruded polystyrene foam) using recycled paper and other waste materials.
