Sam Day is an Instructional Designer at the Studio. Prior to joining the Studio, Sam was the sole Instructional Designer at UIC Extended Campus, leading the UIC reimplementation of Quality Matters (QM) as well as a number of course design projects. Prior to this, she worked in tutoring, teaching, and instructional design capacities at colleges and universities in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Sam has an M.A. in English and an M.S. in Instructional Design from Western Kentucky University and is a QM-Certified Peer Reviewer.
Instructional Design interests & specialization: Quality & continuous improvement, online learning, accessibility (+1 thinking, UDL).
Learning tool specific interests: Project management tools (Trello, MS Teams, Smartsheet), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, MyQM.
