Pronouns: she/her

Paige Kiehl joined the Studio in 2025, transitioning from roles as an English Instructor at Harold Washington College and a Clinical Coach for secondary ELA student teaching interns at the University of Missouri. New to the role, she looks forward to drawing on her experience from both sides of the classroom to collaborate with instructors in designing equitable, student-centered, and effective online courses that meet the needs of all learners.

Before joining the UIC community, Paige taught English at the high school and college levels in Missouri, California, and Illinois. In addition to teaching, she developed and edited cross-district and cross-grade-level curricula, mentored student teaching interns and first-year teachers, and conducted research on topics including student motivation, classroom discrimination, gaps in resources for multilingual and diverse learners, and transgenerational trauma. She earned her M.A. in Comparative Literature, with an emphasis in English and Spanish literature, from San Francisco State University, as well as a B.S.Ed. in Secondary English Education and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Missouri.

Paige enjoys baking, starting new crafting projects, running, and filling every available space in her apartment with books.
